Tech Spotlight: Joanne Scott
Joanne has a special place in her heart for our senior patients and those with special needs. Read about a few that have made a lasting impact.
Choosing a favorite case or patient is difficult. There are so many patients with whom I love to work, and I feel guilty choosing just one. I love to work with senior pets, and most of my favorites are grey muzzles.
A cocker spaniel named Indy was a definite favorite. Not only was he incredibly handsome, he was a gentle boy who was a perfect example of ageing with dignity and grace. Another favorite was an amazing cat named Bailey. He had serious health issues, and needed a lot of medical care from the LVH staff and his family at home, but never stopped head-butting and purring, no matter what was happening. We said good-bye to both these sweet boys this year, but I will never forget them.
I’ll be in trouble at home if I don’t include Tshirt, whose story may be found on an earlier blog post.
