What is Vitus Vet?

Vitus Vet is a free app designed to give you an easier way to connect with us but also give you access to your pets’ complete medical records 24 hours a day, seven days a week!

How does VitusVet work?

After downloading the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you will be asked to enter basic contact information.  This information will be used to match you with your pet’s records in our system.  The records are automatically uploaded to the app.

You will have access to your pet’s complete medical record including:

– Medical notes

– Labwork

– Prescriptions

– Digital images, such as X-rays

– Reminders for upcoming appointments or services such as vaccines, bloodwork, etc

What is the benefit of having the VitusVet app?

VitusVet is so convenient!

– In an emergency, your pet’s entire medical record is at your fingertips.  This is particularly helpful in times when our practice is closed and you need to share vital information with an emergency hospital.

– Working with a specialist?  Many of our local specialists and referral vets also use VitusVet, making it easy to share information before, during, and after appointments.

– VitusConnect, real-time text messaging feature, makes it easy to stay updated on the status of your pet when they’re at the hospital.

– Ability to set up push notification reminders.  Never miss a medication dose or monthly preventative again!

– Request medication refills.  Requesting refills is as easy as snapping a picture of the medication label and sending it to us through the app!

– Interactive GPS-guided map takes the stress out of finding a veterinarian in emergency situations when traveling with pets.

– Pet staying at home with family and friends?  Email a copy of their records directly from the app, so they have all of your pet’s info in one spot!
