TWO VACCINES

Vaccines offer the greatest protection against specific infectious diseases caused by a virus or bacteria.  We offer vaccinations for common dog and cat diseases that attack the immune, gastrointestinal, and respiratory systems and tailor vaccine plans for each pet’s age, health status, and lifestyle. On the 3rd day of Christmas, my dear LVH vet gave to me…

THREE DAILY WALKS

Getting out a few times per day has many health benefits for your pet. Walking at least 30 minutes a day can help increase energy levels, reduce boredom, improve socialization, lower blood pressure, and keep weight in check.  And don’t let a fenced-in yard stifle your motivation.  Your pet will be mentally stimulated by the sights and sounds beyond the backyard, get to use muscles they normally wouldn’t use and perfect their leash walking!  We are fortunate to have many beautiful parks and green spaces right here in Northern Virginia, so there’s no excuse not to get out with your pup!

FIVE DENTAL X-RAYS

Did you know that 80% of dogs and 70% of cats will have some form of periodontal disease by age 3? We do a thorough mouth exam as part of your pet’s annual and bi-annual exam, but also utilize x-rays to analyze the health of the teeth roots and gums below the jaw line.  Learn more about pet dental health here.
