Dr. Doering earns accreditation as Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner
After much hard work and over a year of preparation through continuing education, case studies, internship hours and passing a written examination, Leesburg Veterinary Hospital’s Dr. Adrianne Doering recently became credentialed as a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner (CVPP) through the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM).
As a CVPP, Dr. Doering can further her passion of enhancing the comfort and quality of life of her patients by taking a proactive and preventable approach against pain, injury, and disease. Because our pets cannot tell us when or how they are in pain, it is critical for owners to become aware of pain triggers and discuss these signs with their veterinarians. Dr. Doering is excited to work with her clients in assessing her patients’ health status and creating individualized care plans in the event of pain development and subsequent pain management. There are many options to help prevent and treat the various causes of pain in animals including pain medications, physical rehabilitation, acupuncture, laser therapy, and therapeutic massage.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Doering on earning this prestigious certification and becoming a leader in the field of veterinary pain management.
