Planning a spring getaway? Plan the right boarding or sitting accomodations for your pet too!
The saying goes, March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. In Northern Virginia, this rang true, as the first week of March brought snow, slush and icy conditions to the area, forcing us all to bunker down and ride out another blast of winter weather from Mother Nature.
If you were like us, maybe you spent your snow days dreaming of an island getaway; or if you’re lucky, you’ve actually booked a trip and will be heading for a salty, sandy, sun-soaked beach soon. Whether your spring break rejuvenation involves a week away in a tropical paradise, or a long weekend to a country bed and breakfast right here in the mid-Atlantic, don’t get stressed about Fluffy or Fido’s accommodations while you’re away. We are fortunate to have a wide variety of pet-sitting and boarding options in the D.C. metro area. The possibilities are presented in the current issue of Northern Virginia Magazine, with our own Dr. Kloer providing a veterinarian’s insight into the best option for your pet’s breed, age, and temperament.
